New
methods for handling of Newly Created Archives
Using this new option you can
select whether the new archive should be :
- Just created in the destination
folder without opening it
- Created and then opened inside
PentaZip
- Created and Tested without
opening it
- Created, Tested and Opened
inside PentaZip
Support
for Compressed Archives added to PentaView.
You can now open Compressed Archives
using PentaView. This will be particularly convenient when
browsing numerous files in a folder and you come across a
ZIP file. You can also extract, view, test, send as an email
attachment, etc.
PentaZip
Wizard to make ZIP file creation even easier
The addition of the ZIP Wizard will help you create ZIP archives
or extract from them with great ease.
PentaResize
- a batch resizing utility
PentaResize is an integral part of PentaConverter. PentaResize
can take a batch (batch = 2 or more images) of images and
resize them according to whatever criteria the user selects.
Aspect ratios will be maintained if the Aspect Ratio checkbox
is enabled (i.e. checked). You may simultaneously convert
formats as well as resize images. RAW images from digital
cameras being converted to make them more manageable will
typically be resized using this new utility.

Exif
searching with PentaExif
This new program allows users
to view Exif information and search for images that contain
Exif information.Searches can be made based on Make, Shutter
Speed,, File name, etc.
Added Compress
& Encrypt to right mouse menu
You can select a group of files
and by using this option, create a Zip archive that will be
encrypted as well. Available forms of Encryption are:
- AES, DES, Triple DES, Mars,
Serpent, Blowfish
- PGP
- Self Decrypting (AES or
TwoFish)
