Added Features
to Command Line Interface
We have added 3 new features to the Command
Line Interface:
1. Burning CD's and DVD's from the command
line
2. Strong Encryption from the command line
3. Email from the command line
Create batch files for backups even if you
have large quantities of data. Save your data on CD's or DVD's
also using strong encryption where needed. One possible use
besides backups, is to help protect sensitive data stored
on a laptop. If the data is encrypted at the time the laptop
is turned off, the risk of unauthorized people gaining access
to confidential information can be greatly reduced. After
the backup is complete, send an email message
Added
PentaAlbum Wizard
We have added a wizard to PentaAlbum as a means for users
to create photo albums and image based web pages quickly and
easily.
With the addition of the PentaAlbum Wizard we have implemented
a three tiered approach:
1. Make album pages quickly with our new wizard
2. Resume editing the web page using our photo album program
3. Add yet more features to your album page using your favorite
HTML editor (FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc.)
Major
Improvements to PentaAlbum
HTML Generator is now called PentaAlbum.
Added to PentaAlbum:
- Photo Albums can be made using ANY of the
graphic and Digital Photography file formats that we support.
That includes 12 different RAW formats that cover an extremely
large number of Digital Camera brands and models.
- Preview of Photo Album inside the Program
- Saving and subsequent opening of Photo
Album Pages
- Better management of Templates
- Moving images up and down in the list not
obliging you to keep images in alphabetical, date or some
other order
- Added PDF in Landscape format
- Absolute and Relative Path references for
Thumbnails
- Edit with button using installed HTML editors
- Generate thumbnail images that you can
use for other programs.
- The ability to rename images directly from
within PentaAlbum
- You can still create a photo album with
many images on one page or you can split the album into
multiple pages and have an index as well.
Saving
work as a Project
We have added a new feature to many of the
PentaSuite programs: the ability to save work as a project
so you can go back to it at a later date to update/change
web pages, scripts, encryption options, etc. The programs
to which this has been added are: PentaCollector, PentaConverter,
PentaAlbum and PentaRename.
Preview
module in all programs
We have added image preview areas in the following
programs so that users can view what pictures they are converting,
encrypting, zipping and putting into a photo album: PentaZip,
PentaCollector, PentaConverter, PentaDVD, PentaAlbum and PentaRename.
