As always security is a one of PentaWare's main concerns. PentaFTP includes a test to make sure that a file cannot replace a folder and that a folder cannot replace a file. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) FTP connections are also available.

Some of the new features in PentaView and some of the other PentaSuite programs are:

1. PentaView - Added Remove Red Eye.
2. PentaView - Added Brightness Selection (Increase or decrease of).
3. PentaView - Added Contrast Selection (Increase or decrease of).
4. PentaView - Eliminated the memory resident portion called pzvserver.exe
5. Right Mouse Menu - Rotate commands added to the right mouse context menu.
6. PentaAlbum -  the Default Project File Name is now the same as the title of the Photo Album being created instead of New_project_1.

Users that have a license for PentaSuite Version 7.0 or 7.1 can upgrade to Version 7.5 free of charge.
