PentaSuite-PRO
has arrived!!
PentaSuite-PRO is our latest product. It coincides
with the release of version 8 of PentaSuite.
The menu to the Side of this page will lead you to
pages that describe the new features in depth.
How have we changed PentaSuite?
One of the biggest changes is the way we produce
PDF documents.
You can now "Print" PDFs
using the Print command from the File Menu of just
about any program that handles printable files.
The PentaPDF interface has been greatly improved.
We have maintained the numerous deployment solutions
for the PDF files we create:
- View with Acrobat of PentaView
- Burn to a CD or DVD
- Send as an email attachment
- Upload using FTP
- Place in a ZIP archive
- Encrypt using Strong Encryption such as PGP, DES
or AES (in addition to the security settings offered
by PDF files)
As always, the PentaPDF button is available on the
toolbars of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Corel's WordPerfect. You have Right Mouse Menu support
too.

quality standard core products that our users have
become accustomed to when using PentaWare products.

range of experience of our users goes from novices
all the way up to the managers of Fortune 500 IT departments.

Version 8 is not
just PDF
PentaFTP now offers a boost to your productivity.
By executing file transfers through separate "threads"
you can do other FTP related tasks while an upload
or download is in progress.
We have also increased the number of ways that File
transfers can be performed.
You can:
- Start an immediate transfer of a file or group
of files
- Put a reference to specific files to be transferred
in the file list that will be manually started by
the user
- Schedule specific transfers to take place at a
given starting time
- Access any compressed archive we support (ZIP,
ZIP64, LHA, etc.) on a remote server. You can view
single files and extract single files from the remote
computer to your local computer without having to
download the whole archive.
Other major updates include:
- PentaView now offers support for viewing Acrobat
Version 7 files
- PentaPGP has added searching for a user on a PGP
server by specifying all or part of the User ID
- PentaPGP has added more settings for PGP keys:
- implicit trust set/unset
- enable/disable key
- revoke key
PentaSuite DigiPhoto

PentaSuite DigiPhoto has been nominated for the "Best
Photo Utility or Program" category.
Awards will be handed out July 17, 2005 at the Shareware
Conference in Denver, Colorado.
