All PentaSuite products and PentaZip products offer PDF file creation.
There are some differences between the different methods offered
by the different products:
PentaSuite-PRO, PentaSuite Business-PRO, PentaZIP-PRO and PentaSuite-Premium's PentaCLI feature offer PDF creation
for any printable file. This includes use of the Print command
from the File pull down menu or from the Command Line in
the case of PentaSuite-Premium's PentaCLI feature.
PentaSuite-PRO Server Edition and PentaSuite-Premium
Server Edition also offer PDF creation support
for practically any printable format.
PentaSuite DigiPhoto and PentaZip
offer PDF creation for supported formats (i.e. Microsoft
Word, Excel, WordPerfect, PowerPoint, Text files and Graphics
formats) but neither can use the File Print
command nor offer encryption.
Different ways to create a PDF:
Print command for PentaSuite-PRO, PentaZip-PRO, PentaSuite Business-PRO and PentaSuite-Premium's PentaCLI feature. Not supported
for PentaSuite DigiPhoto and
PentaZip.
Right mouse context menu is generally available for
all products.
PentaView also creates PDF documents from all the different
file formats it supports (more than 100).
PentaConverter (only PentaSuite-PRO, PentaZip-PRO, PentaSuite Business-PRO and PentaSuite-Premium)
creates one or more PDF files with one click of your mouse.
From inside Microsoft Word (starting with Word 2000)
using the button on the PentaPDF toolbar. The PentaPDF
toolbar is also present on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft
PowerPoint.
From inside Corel WordPerfect using the menu item PentaPDF.
